Built by hand, upstairs on Virginia Avenue
Two people, one garage, and a lock that wouldn't open.
Rosa Treviño built sets for Indianapolis theaters for eleven years. Sam Ostrowski is an electrical engineer who couldn't stop taking locks apart. They built their first room in Sam's garage, then opened upstairs in an old printing plant in 2017. Rosa still writes every story; Sam still builds every mechanism.
D.O.T., the Door Operator and Timekeeper, is our house character: the voice that greets you, counts you down and gives your hints. Behind it, every game, is a real game master watching on camera.

We did the Clockmaker's Debt for my dad's sixtieth and got out with forty seconds left. He still talks about the fourth clock.
Danielle, Broad Ripple
Took our team of twenty-four across all five rooms. The debrief afterward was the best meeting we've had all year.
Marcus, Carmel
Pit Lane with two kids, eight and eleven. Nobody was scared, everybody had a job, and the hints came right when we needed them.
Jen, Irvington
Everybody asks. Here's what we tell them.
Questions, answered.
Is it scary?
Only Hollow Pines has jump scares, and we switch them off if you ask before you start. The other four rooms are puzzles and atmosphere, nothing that jumps out.
How old do you have to be?
Pit Lane is built for families, ages 8 and up. The Switchboard and the Clockmaker's Debt are 10 and up, Undertow 12 and up, Hollow Pines 16 and up. Kids 8 to 12 play with an adult.
Will we play with strangers?
Never. Every game is private: you book the room, and only your group plays it.
What if we get stuck?
Ask. Your game master watches every game on camera, and hints come over the speaker in D.O.T.'s voice, as many as you want, always free.
Are we really locked in?
No. No door is ever truly locked, and you can step out any time, for any reason. Nothing in our rooms needs strength, climbing or crawling.
How early should we arrive?
Fifteen minutes before your start time, for a short briefing. There are lockers for phones and bags.
Is it wheelchair accessible?
Four of our five rooms are on one level and wheelchair accessible. Undertow has one step down. Tell us when you book and we'll plan around it.
Your room, your time, nobody else
Pick a room and a time. We'll start the clock.
Every game is private and lasts sixty minutes. Arrive fifteen minutes early; we'll take it from there. Groups of ten or more, see parties and teams.
